Edit Business Info helps teams correct names, addresses, phone numbers, categories, and descriptions without leaving their [google business listing management software](/listings-management/) workflow.

## Overview

Use Edit Business Info when you need to clean up core profile details on one or more Google Business Profiles without preparing a full CSV file first.

This workflow is best for day-to-day fixes, smaller batches of updates, and operator-led corrections that should move faster than a spreadsheet process. It supports the same broader listings governance model as Localith's main listings workflows, but keeps the action focused on profile fields instead of a full bulk-import job.

## Before you start

Before you update business information, make sure:

- the Google Business Profiles you want to edit are already connected in Localith
- you know whether this is a one-location change or a broader multi-location update
- the fields you are about to change are correct and approved internally

If the same change needs to go across a large number of locations, use [Bulk Updates](/docs/listings-management/bulk-updates/) instead of editing profiles one by one.

## What you can update

Edit Business Info is designed for the core fields customers and Google rely on most, including:

- business name
- address
- phone number
- website URL
- categories
- descriptions and related profile details

## Edit one listing

Use the single-location path when one profile needs a quick correction.

1. Open the **Listings** area in Localith.
2. Search for the location you want to update and open its details page.
3. Click the field you want to change in the business info panel.
4. Update the value, review it carefully, and save the change.

## Bulk edit business info

Use Bulk Edit when the same field update needs to be applied across several locations right away.

1. Open the **Bulk Edit** workflow.
2. Select the listings you want to update.
3. Choose the field you want to edit from the bulk-edit field list.
4. Enter the new value and review the affected listings before you submit the update.

This is useful for tasks like rolling out a new phone number, updating a website URL, or standardizing categories across a location group.

- Some profile changes may still take time to appear on Google after submission.
